Nexus win IESF World Championship 2024

Romanian team Nexus won the international LAN tournament IESF World Championship 2024, which was held from November 13 to 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A total of 24 squads from all regions of the world participated in the competition.

In the final of the event, Nexus bested the Portuguese team Rhyno with a scoreline of 2:0. The third place at the event was secured by the Serbian national team, while the top four was rounded out by the Metizport roster from Sweden.

For the victory, the Romanians received $100,000. The runner-up earned half as much. The squads that placed third and fourth received $25,000 and $15,000, respectively. The total prize pool of IESF World Championship 2024 amounted to $240,000.
