Insider: flameZ declines transfer to G2 and extends his contract with Vitality
Vitality's Shahar "flameZ" Shushan received a transfer offer from G2. Streamer and GenOne's owner Sebastien "KRL" Perez reported this via his X social media account.
According to the insider, the 21-year-old Israeli esports athlete decided to stay with his current team – allegedly flameZ has already signed a new contract with Vitality. Shushan has represented the French club since June of last year. Shahar's average rating over the past three months amounted to 1.08 (in 41 maps).
Earlier, G2 CEO Alban Dechelotte essentially confirmed the rumor that Nikola "NiKo" Kovač will depart the roster in a couple of months and become a new player on the Falcons Counter-Strike 2 roster.
Both squads will soon enter the fight for tickets to Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: Vitality will compete in the Europe RMR A, while G2 – in RMR B. The detailed information about the tournaments can be found here and here.
