Jackinho returns to CS2 pro scene

25-year-old Swedish esports athlete Jack "Jackinho" Ström Mattsson has announced his return to the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene after a three-month inactivity.

Note that in early August this year, Jackinho departed Metizport and took a break from competing to take care of his mental health. A few days later, he was replaced by Lucas "L00m1" Haukland.

Mattsson himself announced via his X social media account that he is currently a free agent and will soon compete under the Lilmix tag.

I have decided to give it my all in CS again. After working a lot on myself and my mental health I believe I will comeback stronger. I'm currently a free agent and for now I will be grinding with Lilmix.

My goal is to reach a even higher level than before. See you in 2025.

Mattsson represented Metizport for just under a year – from September 2023 to August 2024. The esports athlete filled the roles of AWPer and IGL. Jackinho's average rating after his move to Metizport amounted to 1.01. Throughout his career as a Counter-Strike 2 pro player, he has earned $58,000 in prize money.
