G2 signs one more Russian player to academy

German esports club G2 has revealed a replacement in its youth Counter-Strike 2 roster, which competes under G2 Ares tag. The announcement was published on the organization's X social media account.

Estonian Enri "⁠xezr⁠" Jõgi has departed the squad, while 20-year-old Russian esports athlete Roman "Ketsuo" Vitsinskiy has replaced him. xezr⁠ has represented the team since the day he was signed by the club in July of this year – now he is a free agent.

G2 Ares currently ranks 106th among the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams according to HLTV.org. However, a month ago, the roster was not in the top 200.
