Golden takes over as new SAW coach

Portuguese esports club SAW has unveiled a new addition to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: Maikil "Golden" Selim has joined the team as a coach. The announcement was published on the organization's X social media account.

The 30-year-old Swedish esports athlete replaced Danny "BERRY" Krüger, who departed SAW on October 10 of this year.

Golden's previous team was EYEBALLERS – he competed for them from March to September 2024, after which the organization benched him due to unsatisfactory results. On October 21, Selim entered free agency.

Note that yesterday SAW won a small LAN tournament ESL Challenger Katowice 2024, which was held from October 25 to 27 in Katowice, Poland. After this, the squad rose to 14th place in HLTV ranking.
