ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 peaked at 188,000 viewers – 3.3 times more than tournament in Atlanta

Recent ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 tournament, which ended with SAW's victory, peaked at 188,000 viewers across the broadcasts. The statistics were shared by the analytical service Esports Charts.

The most viewed match of the event was the matchup between Falcons and Eternal Fire in the group stage. The top five also included matches with SAW, paiN, Monte, MIBR and B8. The average number of viewers on the broadcasts amounted to 65,000. The tournament was on air for 25 hours and recorded 1.6 million hours watched.

For comparison: the previous tournament from ESL of a similar scale – ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024 – peaked at only 56,000 viewers on the broadcasts.

ESL Challenger Katowice 2024 took place from October 25 to 27 in Katowice, Poland (in the ESL studio). The event featured a total prize pool of $100,000, which was divided among eight squads. In the final, SAW defeated B8 in a clean sweep.
