BIG through to Thunderpick World Championship 2024 playoffs; Aurora out

Fourth and penultimate playday of the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 group stage has ended. Today, teams from Group D played four matches, having determined one more participant of the playoffs.

In the group openers, BIG defeated Aurora (13:7 on Ancient, 16:13 on Mirage), while BESTIA prevailed over M80 (13:5 on Mirage, 13:1 on Anubis). After that, M80 knocked Aurora out of the tournament (13:9 on Mirage, 13:6 on Anubis), while BIG bested BESTIA (13:6 on Anubis, 13:11 on Dust2).

As a result, Aurora finished the event in last place without receiving any prize money for participation, while BIG secured a slot at the final stage of the competition.

Note that Thunderpick World Championship 2024 is held from October 21 to November 3. The final two days of the event will play out on LAN in Berlin; the remaining matches will be held online. The prize pool of the tournament is $850,000.
