es3tag enters free agency

28-year-old Danish esports athlete Patrick "es3tag" Hansen is no longer bound by contractual obligations with NIP. The Swedish club announced this today via its X social media account.

Note that Hansen competed for NIP from November 2021 to December 2022, after which the organization put him on the bench – he stayed there until October 2023, after which he returned to the team's starting five.

In February 2024, the club benched Dane for the second time – since then he has been inactive and has not played on the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene, and has also abandoned social media. There is no news about es3tag's future plans yet.

Before joining NIP, Patrick represented Complexity, Cloud9, Astralis, HEROIC and other clubs. Throughout his career as a pro CS player, he has earned $273,000 in prize money.
