dobu to compete for Alter Ego at RMR

Indonesian esports club Alter Ego has strengthened its Counter-Strike 2 roster ahead of the upcoming Shanghai Major RMR. The organization has signed one of the ATOX team members, Gan-Erdene "dobu" Batbold, on a short-term loan deal. The announcement was published on Alter Ego's X social media account.

The 25-year-old Mongolian esports athlete replaced Andre "WasteOfAmmo" Yosua Poluakan, who joined the team a little over two months ago, on August 7 this year. dobu's average rating over the past three months amounted to 1.09 (in 35 maps).

Alter Ego also announced a new addition to its coaching staff: Rafael "FeldmaN" Barosso has joined the roster as an analyst. The Spaniard previously occupied a similar position in Falcons.

Alter Ego currently holds 83rd place in HLTV ranking. The ATOX roster, which, unlike Alter Ego, failed to qualify for the RMR, is in the top 38. After dobu's departure, ATOX's roster is now down to three players – at the beginning of the month, the team also benched Tuvshintugs "Annihilation" Nyamdorj.

 Alter Ego are now:

 Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand
 Hyun-Pyo "XigN" Lee
 WingHei "Freeman" Cheung
Jane "aidKiT" Apostoloski
Gan-Erdene "dobu" Batbold (loan)

 Andrew "bali" Joseph (coach)
