RED Canids win CBCS Masters 2024 LAN tournament in Brazil

Marcelo "coldzera" David's team won the local LAN tournament called CBCS Masters 2024, which took place on October 4 and 5 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Eight squad from South America participated in the group stage of the competition, which was held online from September 23 to 26. The four strongest of them advanced to the LAN final – paiN, BESTIA, Imperial and RED Canids.

In the first round of the playoffs, BESTIA defeated paiN, while RED Canids bested Imperial. In the final, coldzera and his teammates prevailed over BESTIA; the match ended with a scoreline of 3:2, with RED Canids losing the first two maps of the match (2:13 on Ancient, 6:13 on Mirage, 13:7 on Nuke, 13:8 on Dust2, 13:7 on Anubis).

For winning CBCS Masters 2024, RED Canids earned approximately $16,500 in prizes. The runner-up received $7,300. paiN and Imperial shared 3rd-4th places and won $1,800 each. The total prize pool of the event amounted to ~$27,500.
