Astralis' management changes again

Nikolaj Nyholm, co-founder of the Danish esports club Astralis, has stepped down as the organization's CEO. Nyholm will retain his position on the Astralis board of directors.

The club's CEO duties have temporarily been taken over by Jakob Hansen, who has been carrying out the responsibilities of Astralis' CFO since December 2019.

Note that Nyholm was the head of the organization from 2016 to 2019, after which Anders Hersholt replaced him in this position. In January of this year, Nyholm again became Astralis' CEO.

The next tournament for the Astralis Counter-Strike 2 roster will be IEM Rio 2024 – the event will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the participation of 16 squads that will compete for $250,000 in prize money. The roster currently holds 18th place in Valve's world ranking.
