G2 climb to second place in HLTV ranking

HLTV.org unveiled an updated ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. G2 moved up to second place after winning BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024. NAVI is still on top, while Vitality dropped to No. 3.

In addition, FaZe moved up to sixth place, overtaking Eternal Fire, while SAW and Virtus.pro entered the top ten, ousting Complexity from it. FURIA, in turn, rose to 14th place.

Over the past week, several more squads from the top 30 showed progress – HEROIC, M80, Imperial, 3DMAX, FlyQuest, B8 and BetBoom Team. MIBR, Falcons, Astralis and other rosters, on the contrary, weakened their positions in the ranking.

HLTV's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
