STYKO enters free agency

28-year-old Slovakian esports athlete Martin "STYKO" Styk has officially became a free agent today. STYKO announced this via his X social media account. Styk added that he is currently looking for a new team to join for the next competitive season.

Free agent as of today. Taking a little break before the next chapter always resulted in me finding new ways to improve & regain spark. I'm actively going to look at my options for '25 season and Austin Major. Won't be easy, but nothing worthwhile is easy.

Note that in early May of this year, Martin departed Apeks; in the same month, he was signed by the Ukrainian organization Monte. In August, STYKO parted ways with the team "by mutual agreement of the parties" – the club replaced him with 9INE's former player Kamil "KEi" Pietkun. Over the course of his career as a Counter-Strike pro, the Slovak has earned $384,000 in prize money.
