Vitality tops HLTV's world ranking of teams

Vitality has secured first place in the updated ranking of the world's best teams according to HLTV. Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's squad has ousted NAVI, which has been the undisputed leader since the end of August.

The difference between first and second place is currently only 10 points. Vitality and NAVI are essentially determining the strongest at the current season of ESL Pro League, where they both took first places in their groups and advanced directly to the quarter-finals of the playoffs.

There were no other changes in the first ten over the past week. In the top 30, the most progress was shown by Complexity, BIG, M80 and Imperial, which successfully completed the EPL group stage.

HLTV's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
