Cloud9 qualifies for Thunderpick World Championship 2024

Another participant of the autumn Thunderpick World Championship 2024 in Counter-Strike 2 has been determined – Cloud9 won a ticket to the tournament at the second European qualifier.

In a match for a slot at Thunderpick World Championship 2024, the team defeated Zero Tenacity with a scoreline of 2:1. For first place in the qualifier, Cloud9 received $20,000 in prize money; Zero Tenacity earned $5,000.

Besides Cloud9, competing at the event will be M80, Imperial, BLEED, M80, Legacy, BESTIA – all of the listed rosters secured tournament berths through regional qualifiers.

Thunderpick World Championship 2024 will be held from October 1 to 24 this year. 16 squads will share the prize pool of $850,000. The venue of the competition is still unknown.
