FURIA disbands its academy roster

Brazilian esports club FURIA announced the complete disbandment of its youth Counter-Strike 2 roster. All players on the team have become free agents.

The organization plans to rebuild the team from scratch with the help of coach Leonardo "msr" Caixeta, who has retained his place in the academy. In August of this year, Caixeta signed a new contract with FURIA.

At the time of disbandment, FURIA's Academy occupied 204th place in the ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams according to HLTV.org. The squad competed in various small online competitions without much success.
