All three stages of Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 to be held with live audience

Tournament operator Perfect World has announced the venues where the matches of the second Counter-Strike 2 Major – Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 – will take place.

The first two parts of the event – Opening Stage and Elimination Stage – will be held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center with a seating capacity of 5,000.

The playoffs of the event will play out at the indoor arena SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center with a seating capacity of 13,000. Thus, all three stages of the Major will be held with a live audience. All RMRs will also take place in LAN format from November 11 to 24, but without spectators.

Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will be held from November 30 to December 15 in Shanghai, China. The first arena will open its doors from November 30 to December 8, while the second – from December 12 to 15. The total prize pool of the tournament will amount to $1.25 million, which will be divided among 24 squads.
