Astralis promotes academy coach to main team
Danish esports club Astralis has strengthened its coaching staff by appointing Alexander "alexsomfan" Nielsen as assistant coach for the main Counter-Strike 2 roster. The announcement was published on the organization's official website.
For over a year, alexsomfan was coaching Astralis' youth squad, where his position has now been taken by Dennis "Rytter" Rytter, who previously coached Apeks Rebels and PROSPECTS. Nielsen will work side by side with the team's head coach Casper "ruggah" Due.
Next week, Astralis will kick off their journey at ESL Pro League Season 20, which is currently taking place in Malta. In their opener, the squad will face fnatic. The detailed information about the competition can be found via the link.
