ENCE benches kuben

Finnish esports club ENCE has revealed changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster: the organization has benched coach Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński. The announcement was published on the X social media account.

According to the official statement, this decision was made due to unsatisfactory results and differences in visions of the playstyle. It is not yet known who will fill the vacant position on the roster – the club is looking for a new coach.

The famous Polish esports athlete began working with ENCE back in November of last year. With him, the team placed 20th-22nd at the Copenhagen Major, 21st-28th at ESL Pro League Season 19, 9th-10th at YaLLa Compass 2024 and 5th-6th at Skyesports Championship 2024. Before that, Jakub coached Apeks, MAD Lions, Envy and Virtus.pro.

Note that ENCE failed to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR – the squad won only one match out of four in the closed qualifier.

 ENCE are now:

 Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander
 Kacper "Kylar" Walukiewicz
 Krzysztof "Goofy" Górski
 Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev
 Paavo "podi" Heiskanen
