Gabe Follower: CS2 adds Snap Tap and Suspicious Shot detection

After today's update, strings related to "suspicious shots" were found in Counter-Strike 2 files. Data-miner Maxim "Gabe Follower" Poletaev reported this via his social media accounts.

In addition, an algorithm was added to the game code to detect the use of the Snap Tap function, available to owners of Razer keyboards. "Maybe they are just collecting data, maybe they will issue cooldowns for using..." - wrote Gabe Follower. The developers themselves did not give any explanation.

Last week, a lot of strings connected to keychains also appeared in Counter-Strike 2 files. Gabe Follower suggested that the innovation could be added to the game in one of the upcoming patches.

Note that in today's update Valve fixed a couple of bugs in Counter-Strike 2, updated two maps, and also changed the mechanics of tagging when receiving damage. The full list of changes can be found in our article.
