PERA closes its CS2 team

Turkish esports organization PERA has revealed the complete disbandment of its Counter-Strike 2 roster – all team members have become free agents. The announcement was published on the club's X social media account.

The official statement did not disclose the reasons for this decision. It is yet unknown whether the players will continue to compete together without the support of an organization. On August 8, the squad has a match scheduled against Permitta at the Hellcase Cup 10 online tournament.

PERA attended only two LAN events in 2024: the team unsuccessfully participated in the European RMR for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and placed 21st-28th at ESL Pro League Season 19.

Currently, PERA holds 43rd place in the ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 rosters according to HLTV.org. In May of this year, the team was in the top 34 – which was the best result in the tag's history.

PERA's former lineup looks as follows:

 Áron "Aaron" Homoki
 Daniil "Porya" Poryadin
 Brajan "DGL" Lemacha
 Bebu "bibu" Aadil
 Kornél "kory" Szedlár

 Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov (coach)
