Monte withdraws from CCT tournament due to STYKO's health issues

Monte had to withdraw from the online tournament CCT Season 2 European Series 7. One of the team members, Martin "STYKO" Styk, had to take a break for several days due to surgery. The Slovak esports athlete announced this via his X social media account.

Unfortunately, I will have to undergo a surgery today. Nothing too serious, but I will be sidelined for a few days before I fully heal & recover. This will make me unable to perform at my best.

Monte won three matches in a row in the group stage of CCT Season 2 European Series 7 and advanced to the final stage of the event. It is not yet known whether the organizers of the competition will look for the squad's replacement.

Note that last month, the Ukrainian esports club unveiled two new members of its Counter-Strike 2 roster – Olek "hades" Miskiewicz and Paweł "dycha" Dycha. Both previously competed together for ENCE.
