NIP opens academy for Swedish players

Swedish esports club NIP has unveiled open tryouts for a new youth Counter-Strike 2 roster called NIP Svea. The announcement was made via the organization's official website and its social media accounts.

Only Swedish players from 14 to 18 with over 2200 ELO on FACEIT can apply for participation in the project. Candidates will have to go through several stages of selection with a special rating ladder.

The team will be coached by Rasmus "Zitte" Johansson, while NIP Svea will be headed by the organization's General Manager Björn "THREAT" Pers. The project kicks off on August 5.

Note that last month, the Ukrainian club NAVI announced the launch of a new CS2 youth squad, which will be coached by a well-known Michał "snatchie" Rudzki. A couple of days before this, Alliance also revealed the opening of its own Counter-Strike 2 academy.
