Elevate returns Russian dea to lineup

20-year-old Russian esports athlete Deni "dea" Ediev returned to Elevate's Counter-Strike 2 roster. Dust2.us reported this citing the club's representatives.

Note that Ediev departed the team on July 17 for an unknown reason. The IGL of the squad and the CEO of Elevate then confirmed this information to journalists, but refused to go into detail regarding the reasons for the Russian's departure. In dea's absence, Tianyi "Fr3nk1e⁠" He temporarily competed for the team.

Deni originally joined Elevate in February of 2024. At the 47th season of ESL Challenger League, the Russian scored an average rating of 1.21 in 37 maps - this is the second best result among all AWPers at the event.

Note that in February of this year, Elevate announced its return to the Counter-Strike pro scene with a new starting five, which previously competed under the timbermen tag. Elevate currently holds 64th place in HLTV ranking.
