FURIA qualify for Esports World Cup 2024 playoffs

Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's squad became the last participant of the playoffs at Esports World Cup 2024. In the final match of the intermediate Play-In stage, the Brazilian team bested The MongolZ with a scoreline of 13:9 on Nuke.

The roster from Mongolia finished the event in ninth place and won $25,000 in prize money. FURIA, in turn, advanced to the final stage of the competition, which will be held in a Single Elimination format. The squad will face MOUZ in the first round of the bracket.

For today, July 18, the organizers of Esports World Cup 2024 have planned another match: at 20:00 CEST, Team Spirit will face G2 for a spot in the top 4 of the tournament.
