Official: tow b joins BIG's coaching staff

German esports club BIG has strengthened its coaching staff with the appointment of Tobias "tow b" Herberhold as performance coach. The organization officially announced this via its social media accounts.

tow b will work side by side with coach Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk, assistant coach Dustin "⁠DuDe⁠" Großmann and analyst Lukas "⁠sAu" Baumann.

Gerberhold guided BIG's Counter-Strike roster from 2019 to 2021, while before that he worked with Sprout and ALTERNATE aTTaX. For the last three and a half years, the 40-year-old German esports athlete has been inactive.

In May of 2024, BIG removed Fatih "gob b" Dayik from the position of the team's head coach. His place was taken by Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk, who previously carried out the duties of an analyst. The club also recently replaced David "prosus" Hesse. Currently, BIG occupies 20th place in HLTV world ranking.
