FlyQuest, Complexity and two other teams eliminated from Esports World Cup 2024

Opening matches of the intermediate Play-In stage have ended at Esports World Cup 2024 in Saudi Arabia.

In the first round of the bracket, Sashi bested JiJieHao (13:8 on Ancient), FURIA prevailed over FlyQuest (13:5 on Nuke), The MongolZ took out MIBR (13:2 on Inferno), while M80 got the better of Complexity (16:14 on Anubis).

The losing teams got relegated from the competition, sharing last place and receiving $10,000 in prize money as a reward. The winners advanced to the next round of the tournament bracket. Note that one strongest roster based on the results of the Play-In will advance to the playoffs of Esports World Cup 2024.
