Alliance announces open tryouts for CS2 academy roster

Swedish esports club Alliance will open its own Counter-Strike 2 academy. The organization announced the launch of the project via social media accounts and the official website.

Those wishing to join Alliance's youth team will have to go through several tryout stages under the guidance of the club's head coach Simon "Hawk" Vävinggren and the player of Alliance's main roster Simon "twist" Eliasson. Ultimately, they will pick five young players (under 18 years old) who will sign a six-month contract with the organization.

Academy participants will receive Hawk's mentorship and access to Alliance's bootcamp, as well as will also be able to practice with the club's main squad and other academies. "The goal is for academy players to get a springboard into professional life, gain visibility, and improve in CS2", – the official announcement states.

Alliance's main roster currently ranks 91st in the world according to HLTV.
