Elevate removes Russian AWPer
20-year-old Russian esports athlete Deni "dea" Ediev is no longer part of Elevate's Counter-Strike 2 roster. Dust2.us reported this, citing the team's IGL Wyatt "snav" Phillippi.
However, Phillippi refused to disclose the reasons for the replacement. It is unknown who will fill the vacant spot in the starting five. The organization itself has not yet made any official statements on this matter.
Ediev joined Elevate in February of this year. At the 47th season of ESL Challenger League, the Russian recorded an average rating of 1.21 in 37 maps (the second best result among AWPers at the event).
Note that in February of this year, Elevate announced its return to the Counter-Strike pro scene and the signing of a squad that previously competed under the timbermen tag. Currently, Elevate holds No. 60 in HLTV ranking.
Elevate are now:
Wyatt "snav" Phillippi
Derek "dare" Brown
Shane "shane" Dressler
Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell
