Rare Atom secures ticket to BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024
Chinese team Rare Atom won a small online tournament 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024, which served as a qualifier for the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 Counter-Strike 2 event.
In the final of the competition, Rare Atom defeated TYLOO with a scoreline of 2:0. The MongolZ also participated in the tournament, but failed to make it out of the group.
Note that not long ago Rare Atom made a replacement in its Counter-Strike 2 roster: 29-year-old Malaysian esports athlete Andrew "kaze" Khong returned to the squad.
5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024 took place from July 11 to 13. Participants, including the winner, did not receive any prize money. The final 5E Arena Asia Cup Fall 2024 bracket looks as follows:
BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 will be held online from August 21 to 25 with the participation of 16 teams. The event will feature a prize pool of $135,000. Zero Tenacity, M80 and AMKAL have qualified for the tournament so far besides Rare Atom.
