Apeks' ex-coach enters free agency – according to rumors, he will move to Liquid
Norwegian organization Apeks has officially announced the parting ways with the coach of its Counter-Strike 2 roster, Thorbjørn "mithR" Nyborg. The statement was published on the club's X social media account.
mithR spent two years and eight months with Apeks. According to rumors, the Dane will soon move to Liquid along with Justin "jks" Savage and Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak.
Note that at the end of May of this year, the Norwegian multigaming left the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene due to financial issues. All players and coach were put up for transfer.
This season, Apeks secured 13th-16th place at IEM Katowice 2024, 20th-22nd place at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, 3th-4th place at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024.
