GamerLegion signs Metizport's former player
German esports club GamerLegion has unveiled the new IGL of its Counter-Strike 2 roster – Erik "ztr" Gustafsson. The official announcement was published on the X social media account.
Gustafsson replaced Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski, who moved to G2 a few days ago.
The previous roster of the 20-year-old Swedish esports athlete was Metizport – he competed for them from December 2023 to May 2024. Under his leadership, the team did not achieve any significant success, while in May the organization benched him and put him up for transfer. Previously, ztr represented GODSENT. Throughout his career as a pro CS player, he has earned $96,000 in prize money.
The updated GamerLegion roster will debut at the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Groups LAN tournament, which kicks off at the end of July in Copenhagen, Denmark.
GamerLegion are now:
Sebastian "volt" Malos
Henrich "sl3nd" Hevesi
Andreas "aNdu" Maasing
Timur "FL4MUS" Marev
Erik "ztr" Gustafsson
Ashley "ash" Battye (coach)
