CS2's peak player count drops by over 100,000 users in June

Counter-Strike 2's player count has begun to decline again after four months of continuous growth. Thus, in June 2024, the game's average player count dropped by 1.12% compared to the previous month.

Peak player count in June decreased much more drastically compared to the May numbers – from 1.614 million to 1.510 million users. The statistics were provided by the analytical service Steam Charts.

Note that in June a large patch was released in Counter-Strike 2, in which the developers added community maps to the game, updated the MVP panel, as well as improved the settings. A complete list of changes can be found in our article.
