Rumors: Falcons seeks to buy m0NESY and NiKo from G2

According to unofficial data, Falcons, an esports organization from Saudi Arabia, is interested in buying out Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov from G2's Counter-Strike 2 roster. This was reported by insider, streamer and GenOne's owner Sebastien "KRL" Perez.

According to KRL, Falcons' management offered Kovač a huge salary – about €85,000 per month. NiKo and m0NESY are expected to replace Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer and Álvaro "SunPayus" Garcia. Note that last fall Falcons already tried to buy out Bosnian and Russian esports athletes from G2.

Earlier, insiders Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich and Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov reported that the Saudi club is actively looking for options to strengthen the squad, while Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen could take over as the new IGL of the team. The organization itself has not yet made any official statements on this matter.

Not long ago, Falcons competed at the ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024 LAN tournament in Jönköping, Sweden, where they placed second, securing a ticket to ESL Pro League Season 20, which is set to take place in September.

 Falcons are now:

 Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
 Emil "Magisk" Reif
 Pavle "Maden" Bošković
 Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia
 Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen

 Danny "zonic" Sørensen (coach)
