Wildcard parts ways with two players

American esports club Wildcard has officially announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The statement was published on the organization's official website.

The rumors have been confirmed: Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan and Adam "Grizz" Golden are no longer part of Wildcard's starting five. The former was benched and put up for transfer, while the latter departed the club as a free agent. Nilan has represented Wildcard since April of last year, while Golden joined the squad for a trial period in early May 2024.

According to media reports, Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Tim "susp" Ångström will become the new members of the team. The former previously competed for Rare Atom, while the latter was benched by Metizport in early May.

Note that Wildcard recently secured second place at the regional online tournament ESL Challenger League Season 47 and won a slot at ESL Pro League Season 20.
