G2 benches nexa

Nemanja "nexa" Isaković departed G2's Counter-Strike 2 starting five. The German club officially announced the benching of Isaković via its X social media account.

The 27-year-old Serbian esports athlete joined G2 last November, while before that he competed for OG. With him, the team entered the top 4 at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and won IEM Dallas 2024, at which nexa recorded an average rating of 0.85.

G2 placed last at the recent BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 tournament in London – Isaković finished the event with an average rating of 0.81.

G2's official announcement states that the organization is now in the process of finding a new team for nexa. The club did not specify who will fill the vacant position on the roster. According to rumors, Mario "⁠malbsMd⁠" Samayoa will become the new member of the roster.
