markeloff plays first official CS match in six years
Famous Ukrainian esports athlete Yegor "markeloff" Markelov played as a stand-in for FAVBET in a match against 1WIN at the Counter-Strike 2 online tournament ESEA Advanced Season 49 Europe.
Markelov temporarily replaced Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk – he was unable to continue the match for technical reasons, having crashed out of the match during the third and decisive map of the series.
As a result, FAVBET ended the map in their favor with a scoreline of 19:15 and won the matchup. Markelov himself finished the map (Anubis) with 13 kills and 11 deaths (0.97 rating).
Note that this was markeloff's first official match in six years. The last time the player competed on the professional Counter-Strike scene as part of FlipSid3 at the Minor tournament for FACEIT Major 2018 – it was in June of 2018.
