NIP, TheMongolz and Complexity do not lose a single map on first YaLLa Compass 2024 playday

The first playday of the YaLLa Compass 2024 LAN tournament in Abu Dhabi has ended, as a result of which favorites and outsiders started to emerge in each group.

Thus, NIP, TheMongolz and Astralis are currently the contenders for reaching the playoffs in Group A. At the same time, NIP and TheMongolz share first place in the bracket - the teams have won two matches each. HEROIC, on the contrary, lost two matches in a row and dropped to last place.

In Group B, only one roster finished the first day of the tournament with a flawless 2:0 record, namely Complexity. BetBoom Team won two series and lost to one opponent, thus taking second place in the bracket. Eternal Fire is performing the worst in its group so far – the Turks haven't secured a single map.

Note that the strongest roster from each group will advance to the semi-finals of the playoff bracket; two more teams will secure the quarter-final spots. All games in the group stage are BO1.

YaLLa Compass 2024 takes place from June 5 to 9 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, with the participation of 12 squads. The tournament features a total prize pool of $400,000.
