HEROIC and BIG lose their openers at IEM Dallas 2024

Group B openers ended at IEM Dallas 2024, as a result of which four teams dropped into the lower bracket of the tournament.

In the first round, FaZe defeated M80, Virtus.pro bested HEROIC, Team Spirit prevailed over FlyQuest, while NAVI got the best of BIG. All four matches played out in a BO1 format.

The winners advanced to the upper bracket semi-finals, while the defeated roster will fight for survival at the event tomorrow. Subsequent matches will be BO3.

Note that IEM Dallas 2024 takes place from May 27 to June 2 in Dallas, USA. The tournament features a prize pool of $250,000. The winner will also receive an invite to IEM Cologne 2024. The lineups of all participants of the competition can be found in our article.
