OverDrive: Cloud9 may completely disband roster

North American multigaming Cloud9 is considering the option of disbanding its Counter-Strike roster. Insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov shared the corresponding rumors via his Telegram channel.

The management may resort to such a decision due to difficulties with assembling a new lineup after parting ways with three players. According to Birukov, the club is even considering the return of Timofey "interz" Yakushin, who was replaced a year ago.

Previously, OverDrive also told that Cloud9 tried to sign Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko and Timur "clax" Sabirov, but they declined the club's offer. At the same time, the insider has obtained information that at the moment the management has not been able to reach an agreement with any of the desired players.

Note that Cloud9 is rebuilding the team after the departure of Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, Abay "HObbit" Khassenov and Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy. The club expects to form a new roster around the remaining Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov and Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov.
