Map pool with Dust2 to be featured at all upcoming LAN tournaments

Tournament operator ESL has officially announced that starting from May 27, all of its events will feature a new competitive map pool that includes Dust2 instead of Overpass. IEM Dallas 2024 is scheduled to kick off on this date.

However, Dust2's debut at the top level will take place a little earlier at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. The organizers of the upcoming LAN tournament, which will be held from May 14 to 19, confirmed this in a comment to HLTV.

Note that the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 19 is taking place with the old map pool. ESL has decided not to make any adjustments during the event to maintain competitive integrity.

With the Counter-Strike 2 update on April 26, Valve excluded Overpass from the competitive map pool, replacing it with Dust2. The developers have also made some changes to Inferno that may affect gameplay.
