Astralis advance to quarter-finals of ESL Pro League Season 19 playoffs

Astralis secured first place in Group A at ESL Pro League Season 19. Due to this result the Danish team will start the playoffs from the quarter-finals.

In the upper bracket final of Group A, Astralis bested 3DMAX with a scoreline of 2:0 – 13:7 on Inferno and 13:3 on Ancient. Having suffered a defeat, the French squad received seeding in the Round of 8 of the playoffs.

Also, at the end of the playday, two more outsiders of the current EPL season were determined. Performance at the tournament was finished by TYLOO and Eternal Fire, who lost in the lower bracket semi-finals of their groups to M80 (13:7 on Inferno, 3:13 on Ancient and 1:13 on Overpass) and SAW (8:13 on Vertigo and 3:13 on Nuke), respectively.

Today, April 28, the holders of the last spots in the playoffs from Groups A and B will become known. In the final match of Group A facing off will be Virtus.pro and SAW, Group B – G2 and M80.
