NIP to compete at ESL Pro League Season 19 without REZ

NIP's Fredrik "REZ" Sterner will miss ESL Pro League Season 19 due to illness. The Swedish club announced this via its social media accounts.

At the EPL, the NIP roster will be rounded out with the Polish esports athlete Kacper "xKacpersky" Gabara, who joined the Ninjas' academy earlier in April. It is currently unknown whether REZ will return during the tournament if he recovers.

Note that xKacpersky became the second academy player in NIP's main team. Currently, the squad also includes Maoz "BluePho3nix" Paz, who fills the vacant position while the team searches for a permanent fifth player.

NIP will start competing at ESL Pro League Season 19, which has already kicked off, in Group D. The European team will fight against Complexity, HEROIC, BIG, NAVI, PERA, FlyQuest and BOSS.
