FaZe scores maximum number of points in HLTV ranking

In the updated ranking of the world's best teams from HLTV, FaZe got to the maximum threshold of 1000 points. The European team reached the peak for the first time while occupying first place since February of this year.

FaZe reinforced its position of a global leader after winning IEM Chengdu 2024. In the final of the recent tournament, Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad defeated MOUZ, which also improved its placement in the ranking and now sits at No. 3.

In addition to FaZe and MOUZ, progress in the top 10 was shown by G2, Eternal Fire and HEROIC. At the same time, Vitality, Cloud9 and Virtus.pro dropped lower.

It is also worth to highlight the results of Astralis and FlyQuest, which over the past week moved up 15 and 11 positions, respectively, due to their performance at the IEM tournament in Chengdu.

HLTV's ranking is updated weekly and primarily takes into account the results of the last two months. Teams' achievements over the past year are also considered, with the number of points for past successes decreasing each month.
