ECSTATIC's roster moves to Gaimin Gladiators
Canadian multigaming Gaimin Gladiators has announced the acquisition of ECSTATIC's players. The signing of the Danish roster marks the club's return to the Counter-Strike pro scene after 7 months of absence.
Along with the five players, coach Peter "casle" Ardenskjold joined Gaimin Gladiators. The 37-year-old specialist worked with the team at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024, but did not have a contract with ECSTATIC.
After a sensational performance at the first CS2 Major, the Danish roster rose to the top 20 in the world's ranking. Note that before this success, ECSTATIC competed mainly on the tier 3 scene.
Gaimin Gladiators have three tournaments on their current calendar. The roster is now participating in Elisa Invitational Spring 2024 and Thunderpick World Championship 2024: European Series #1, while in May they will compete at CCT Global Finals 2024, which will feature a prize pool of $500,000.
Gaimin Gladiators are now:
Jonas "Queenix" Dideriksen
Tobias "kraghen" Kragh Jensen
Jason "salazar" Salazar
Magnus "Nodios" Olsen
Patrick "Patti" Larsen
Peter "casle" Ardenskjold (coach)
