G2 and FaZe through to IEM Chengdu 2024 playoffs
G2 and FaZe secured last spots in the playoffs of IEM Chengdu 2024. The European teams won matches in the lower bracket final of their respective groups.
In the closing match of Group A, G2 defeated HEROIC with a scoreline of 2:0 – 13:10 on Ancient and 16:13 on Nuke. In turn, in a game for getting into the three finalists of Group B, FaZe got the better of FlyQuest with a scoreline of 2:0 – 13:4 on Ancient and 13:10 on Nuke.
