ESL partner with Saudi megaproject Qiddiya City

Esports company ESL FACEIT Group revealed the start of cooperation with the Saudi megaproject of entertainment and tourism Qiddiya City. The announced partnership is for 5 years.

The parties will join forces in developing the "city" area, which should become a global center of the gaming and esports industry. The tournament operator will also receive exclusive rights to hold events in this location, including DreamHack festivals and competitions under the auspices of ESL.

Reportedly, the total area allocated for the gaming infrastructure is 500,000 square meters big. Specifically, there are plans for it to house cutting-edge esports facilities, which will make Qiddiya City the epicenter of the industry's development.
