IEM Chengdu 2024 viewer's guide

IEM Chengdu 2024, a big LAN tournament in China, will take place from April 8 to 14. 16 participants from all over the world will compete for a $250K prize pool and a slot at IEM Cologne 2024.

Traditionally for the IEM series, the event will kick off with the group stage, which will play out in a Double Elimination format. The openers will be BO1s, while all the remaining matches will take place in a BO3 format.

Three teams from each of the two groups will secure tickets to the playoffs: the winners will advance to the semi-finals, while the runners-up will receive quarter-final spots. The IEM Chengdu 2024 playoffs will take place in a Single Elimination best-of-three format.
