IEM Chengdu 2024 groups unveiled

IEM Chengdu 2024 organizers have announced the seeding of participants in the group stage. Eight teams were divided into two groups, and from each of them the three strongest rosters will advance to the playoffs.

The competition in the group stage will take place in a Double Elimination format. The openers will be BO1s, while all other matches, including playoff games in a Single Elimination bracket, will be series of BO3.

IEM Chengdu 2024 group stage seeding looks as follows:

Group А

 G2 –  9z
 HEROIC –  Liquid
 FURIA –  Lynn Vision
 MOUZ –  TYLOO

Group В

 FaZe –  Nemiga
 Astralis –  Monte
 Cloud9 –  Jeeves
 Virtus.pro –  Wildcard

Note that the upcoming tournament of the prestigious IEM series will take place from April 8 to 14. 16 participants will compete in the Chinese city of Chengdu for a $250K prize pool.
