Rumors: Talon Esports to enter CS2 pro scene with Australian superteam

Hong Kong multigaming Talon Esports plans to sign a CS2 roster, which will include the best Australian players. Insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich reported this via his Telegram channel.

According to the source, potential candidates for the "Australian superteam" are Justin "jks" Savage, who is a free agent after recently departing G2, as well as players from Grayhound's former roster.

harumi also suggested that new clubs will enter the Asian CS2 pro scene in the near future. The reason for this is the additional slot at the next Major, which the region received due to TheMongolz's successful performance at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024.

Note that Talon Esports has already had some short-term experience in Counter-Strike. The organization supported Taiwanese squads at eXTREMESLAND 2017 Asia Finals and GOTV.GG Invitational #2 regional tournaments, which took place in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
